Since 2009, I've felt incredibly lucky to call this little island home. It is hard to put into words what makes this place so special, but to me, it is the heart of the community. There is a spirit of sharing, care, connection and support here that I haven't found anywhere else.

The idea for this project first came to me many years ago as a way to connect local growers and makers with the people around them. Creating it has been my way of giving something back to a community that has given me so much support over the years.

I would also like to express my gratitude to all the farmers, gardeners and islanders who grow food, make local products, share what they have, and to all the people who support them. Your generosity is what makes this project possible.
